The Postgraduate Certificate in Information Technology (PGCertInfoTech) has been developed for students who already hold an undergraduate degree in a non-ICT discipline.

The PGCertInfoTech is a 60-point, taught programme in which you'll take practical, hands-on and lab-based courses. The courses have been developed to complement the skills you've gained in your undergraduate degree, and arm you with foundational skills for a career in IT.

Full-time and part-time study options are available, including a part-time evening programme – ideal for students who would like to work while they study.

  • Entry requirements: students must have completed the requirements for a suitable bachelors degree from the University of Auckland, the University of Waikato, or an approved equivalent degree qualification.
  • Taught at the University of Auckland City Campus or the University of Waikato Hamilton Campus.
